THÉRAPIES ARTS CRÉATIFS
Arts Therapies

ECO-ART THERAPY
CLIMATE CRISIS SUPPORT
Eliza offers psychological support to individuals, groups and enterprises who are suffering from the emotions linked to climate change. Together you will work creatively to address the emotions so that they move from being road blocks to action to becoming productive, useful and manageable states of being.
She also creates and carries out educative projects with the aim of informing about sustainable development and climate change through creativity and artistic practice.
The SustainABILITY Project©, launched for the first time with MILPERA, was created with the aim of offering "creative green programmes" and "green mental health programmes" in schools.
Sustain: maintain, support
Ability: ability, possibility, competence
Sustainability: sustainable development, ecology, environment

RASA BOXES: EMOTIONAL RELEASE AND SUPPORT
Rasaboxes is a technique that Eliza applies in art therapy sessions for anyone who is having particular difficulty with emotions.
Devised by Richard Schechner in the 90s, Rasaboxes offers a concrete physical tool to access, express, and manage feelings/emotions within the context of performance or therapy. Eliza's work is very much guided and influenced by Richard's work and her experience in her undergratuate training in performing arts.
Used originally for performer training, rasaboxes can also be applied in other fields including therapy.
Rasaboxes offers participants a space to physically meet and express eight key emotions.
Rasaboxes integrates this ancient theory with contemporary emotion research about the “brain in the belly” (the enteric nervous system), studies in facial expression of emotion, neuroscience, and performance theory.
Rasaboxes is a fully embodied and individual means to express these eight key emotions separately and in combination through direct physical practice. Rasaboxes helps participants to work holistically: the body/mind/emotions are treated as a single system. In practice, rasaboxes produces experiences or performances that are visceral and useful across a wide range of contexts.
Rasaboxes integrates play, movement, and voice and engages the whole person.
Eliza engages with Rasa Boxes as a creative technique to guide patients towards and through their emotions. It is a safe and creative way of accessing emotions that might other wise be hidden, trapped or unexplored territories.

RELAXATION
With a postgraduate training in relaxation techniques (Autogenic Training by Schultz), Eliza offers sessions for anyone suffering stress, anxiety, emotional distress, insomnia, trauma, depression, hyperactivity, and difficulty concentrating but also for anyone who wishes to step away from the business of life and find calm, centring and presence in their life. Relaxation sessions can also offer a space to ask questions and find solutions in a calm and reflective way. Eliza uses deep breathing, visualisations, movement, music, and the body to find states of relaxation.
The benefits of relaxation are found on physical, mental, emotional, functional and intellectual levels.
On a physical level, it promotes muscle relaxation, release of symptoms of anxiety, helps with insomnia and digestive disorders. It allows blood circulation and proper functioning of internal organs.
On an emotional level, relaxation helps you to become more aware of yourself, manage your emotions and act effectively on them.
At the functional level, it is essential for physical and mental balance.
On an intellectual level, it frees the mind from obscure or invasive thoughts, develops memory and promotes concentration and openness.
Autogenic Training by Schultz: is a relaxation method close to auto-hypnosis, which consists of relaxing the mind and body and learning to let go.
